About Us

WE BUILT A CLUB
WITH ROOM
FOR EVERYONE.

The Cape Cod Whalers are a midget organization with a proven track record of success. During the 2023-2024 season we had over 50 alumni playing college hockey and 11 playing in the NHL, plus more than 30 players across junior leagues such as the BCHL and USHL. Whaler teams have historically been made up of area prep and high school players, and our model is to keep providing a platform where talented players develop, practise and compete in a strong team culture while showcasing their skills.

Our Mission

Our mission is to develop high-character, high-achieving hockey players who are prepared for what comes next, on the ice, in the classroom, and in life.

We challenge players to improve their skills, compete with confidence, support their teammates, and take responsibility for the standards they bring to the rink each day.

Success is not measured by talent alone. It is built through preparation, accountability, leadership, discipline, and a willingness to put the team first.

EVERYTHING EARNED. NOTHING GIVEN.

01

Purposeful Development

Players are placed in a competitive environment designed to sharpen their skills, hockey awareness, preparation, and confidence.

02

Meaningful Competition

Our teams compete through schedules that challenge players and prepare them for the demands of higher-level hockey.

03

Opportunity and Exposure

The Whalers give talented players a platform to demonstrate their ability in front of the programs and people evaluating the next generation of athletes.

04

Character and Education

We believe the habits that create strong hockey players also create successful students, leaders, teammates, and young adults.
